TJ Watt marries Dany Rhodes
Trent Jordan Watt is a name to reckon with in the world of the NFL. The extremely talented outside linebacker is a massive part of the Pittsburgh Steelers. After impressing one and all in his college football days at the University of Wisconsin, TJ was able to get himself in Steelers’ scheme of things.
Drafted by the Pittsburgh-based franchise back in 2017, TJ went on to receive the NFL defensive player of the year award in 2021. He signed a massive 4-year extension deal with the Steelers the same year and became the highest paid defensive in the league.
TJ Watt ties the knot with soccer star Dani Rhodes
It seems like football runs in TJ’s family. While J.J Watts plays for the Arizona Cardinals, Derek Watt is his Steelers teammate. As it turns out, another athlete has now become a part of the Watt family. TJ recently tied the knot with his girlfriend Dani Rhodes who is a soccer star.
The two athletes got engaged last year and this weekend, the power couple married in Cabo San Lucas. Incredibly beautiful pictures from the ceremony started making rounds on social media.
The Watts, as expected were over the moon during the ceremony. Indeed, TJ’s year just got even better. As far as his football career is concerned, the man is at the peak of his powers. He is a force to reckon with at the highest level for which he was dearly rewarded and now, he has tied the know with the love of his life.
