The Baltimore Ravens added an offensive weapon to their squad as they signed the free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to a one-year deal worth up to $18 million. With the addition of OBJ, many people, including the renowned NFL insider Mike Tannenbaum, believe Lamar Jackson and the Ravens now have the best shot at winning the Super Bowl.

“100 percent,” Tannenbaum replied when he was asked if Lamar Jackson now has the best shot at winning a ring with the addition of Beckham Jr. in a recent episode of the ESPN show Get Up.

“Odell Beckham is a great player when healthy. The last time we saw in the Super Bowl, he was the best player on the field and what he could do over 17 games will make this offense literally unstoppable,” said Mike Tannenbaum.

Additionally, Tannenbaum went on to say that the Ravens adding the former Pro Bowl receiver is the most significant move in the off-season. He would help the Ravens compete against the AFC powerhouses like the Kansas City Chiefs and the Cincinnati Bengals.

“He may be the most consequential move this off-season. If they are all there for 17 games, this offense will be incredibly difficult to defend, Lamar should be in the MVP conversation, and Baltimore will be toe-to-toe with Cincinnati and Kansas City,” claimed the insider.

Odell Beckham Jr. is coming off a rest season after suffering an ACL injury in 2022. He sat out the entire 2022 regular season as he recovered from his injury and signed a huge deal with the Baltimore-based football team in free agency.

The Ravens and Lamar Jackson were having issues with reaching a middle ground on a long-term contract extension for months. Jackson reportedly asked the Baltimore-based franchise to add offensive weapons Odell Beckham Jr. and DeAndre Hopkins for him to sign an extension.

And since the Ravens couldn’t afford both star receivers, they went all in signing the Super Bowl-winning wideout Beckham Jr. to a one-year deal. The 30-year-old receiver was reportedly contemplating retirement, but the Ravens lured him out with their huge deal.

Recently, Beckham revealed that the upcoming 2023 season might be his final season in the NFL. He promised to give it all to the Ravens in 2023 and he is looking to make a decision about his future depending on this season’s outcome. So, the Ravens would be looking to win a championship ring in the upcoming season itself.
