The game of football is known for it’s physicality and the tough nature of the game. the NFL is considered as one of the most competitive leagues in the world due to the way it’s played. However, Isaiah McKenzie doesn’t agree to that assessment and recently blamed the weather conditions for their loss.
McKenzie is a former Buffalo Bills player who was part of the the team when they lost to the Cincinnati Bengals in the NFL playoffs. The Bills had a great regular season run but weren’t able to replicate it in the playoffs.
The former Bills WR believes snow is the reason for their downfall and they would have definitely won the game if the stadium had a retractable roof. McKenzie also called out the Bills running game and believe that the team weren’t able to adapt to the grueling conditions of the snow.
“I’ll tell you this: That snow had a lot to do with it,” Isaiah McKenzie stated on the Go Long podcast. “Let’s be real. Our run game wasn’t the best run game. … We didn’t have a run game, so the snow was a big deal because we pass the ball. If we were in a dome, it would have been a totally different game.”
The Bills lost a firm hand on the game since it’s inception and gave the Bengals a comfortable 14-0 lead. The Buffalo based team weren’t able to pull themselves out of that due to Josh Allen’s miserable form during the game.

Isaiah McKenzie compares Josh Allen with Joe Burrow

Josh Allen and Joe Burrow are considered as one of the best QBs of the AFC and have incredible talent and skill. The Bills-Bengals face-off had two talented QBs go up against each other.
However, the Bengals QB got the better of Allen and even Isaiah McKenzie agrees to that. McKenzie believes Burrow adapted to the snow really well and Allen wasn’t able to do that. The Indianapolis Colts WR also spoke on Allen’s ball playing abilities.
“Josh has a cannon, and that’s how he throws a football. Josh has touch every now and then, but he wants to sling the football. And that was kind of tough for him, getting the balls in the right spots, receivers getting open because of the routes we ran,” Isaiah McKenzie stated.
The Bengals-Bills rivalry is one for the future as the game promises a great exhilarating affair every single time. On the other hand, Isaiah McKenzie has finally moved to a stadium with a retractable roof in Indianapolis
