AJ Brown is one of the most likable characters on-and-off the football field. The Philadelphia Eagles pass catcher’s elite athleticism on the field and his activities off the field have gained him a lot of fans and followers in Philly. And now, during the off-season, the star wide receiver participated in the annual Eagles autism biking event but almost injured himself while biking.

On Saturday morning, AJ Brown participated in the biking event and streamed it live on his Instagram account for his followers. During the event, he gave a massive scare to the Eagles’ fans as he almost got hit by an oncoming car at crossroads. The camera fell face up on the floor, but Brown managed to jump down from his bike and escape danger.

It was a scary scene, but an hour later Brown confirmed that he avoided any major injuries. “I’m fine everyone lol,” Brown wrote in a tweet. “Someone ran the stop sign. I didn’t fall off my bike, I just dropped my phone and got out of the way. Stay safe everyone.”

Brown also added some humor to the whole incident as he tweeted that he saw a star sign (referencing Philly’s rival Dallas Cowboys) on the license plate of the vehicle that almost ran him down.
