The NFL off-season is not up to a good start. Just a couple of days after the Kansas City Chiefs were crowned the Super Bowl champions, many people started mocking the San Francisco 49ers‘ players on social media. Joining the trend, the Philadelphia Eagles defensive lineman Jalen Carter laid out some accusations against the Niners offensive lineman Jon Feliciano.

Immediately after losing the Super Bowl, the 49ers offensive lineman Jon Feliciano publicly blamed his teammate for a missed block on the Chief defensive tackle, Chris Jones, in overtime. Feliciano’s actions were criticized by many people and Carter took the chance to call out the Niners OL on social media.

While sharing the report about Feliciano’s tweets blaming his teammate, Carter said the Niners OL talked trash about his former Georgia Bulldogs teammate, who died in a car crash about a year ago.

After the Georgia Bulldogs won the national championship in 2023, Jalen Carter and some of his teammates were racing after leaving a club per reports. One of the vehicles allegedly involved in the racing crashed leading to the death of his Bulldogs teammate, Devin Willock, as well as team staffer, Chandler LeCroy.

Carter initially told the cops that he wasn’t present at the scene during the crash. But, later he pleaded contest to charges of reckless driving. He was fined $10,000, given 1 year of probation, and sentenced to 80 hours of community service.

Jalen Carter had a remarkable rookie season with the Eagles

The Georgia Bulldogs product Jalen Carter was one of the most hyped prospects entering the 2023 NFL Draft. He ended up sliding out of the top 5 during the draft day due to some questions about his off-field behaviors.

Nonetheless, the Eagles ended up drafting him with their 9th overall pick, which turned out to be a great steal for them. Carter, a defensive lineman, finished his rookie campaign with 6 sacks.

He wreaked havoc in opposing teams’ offensive backfields and was a great addition to the aging defensive line of the Philadelphia-based football team. As a result, he ended up second in the Defensive Rookie of the Year voting.

However, he could not help the Eagles make a good playoff run as they got bounced off in the first round of the postseason. Now, Carter will look to up his game in his second year and will look to help the Eagles make a deep postseason run in the 2024-25 season.
