Back in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Detroit Lions moved up several spots to select the Alabama wide receiver Jameson Williams in the first round. Williams was expected to be one of the biggest assets for the Lions’ offensive unit. But he has yet to make a big impact in the league. Amidst this, the pass catcher’s weird food combination has sent social media into a frenzy.

On Tuesday afternoon, Jameson Williams shared his meal on Instagram. Williams seemingly had McDouble and Oreo McFlurry for his lunch, but with a twist. The Lions receiver plopped some McFlurry in his burger, which is a pretty weird combination to eat. Many couldn’t believe Williams could eat a McDouble with the combination of his dessert.

Williams becomes another NFL player with an appetite for a weird food combination. The Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Will Levis was also heavily trolled earlier this year after fans found that he likes to put mayonnaise in his coffee. Arguably, that was worse than what Williams did on Tuesday, but some good came out of Levis’ weird food combo.

After his mayo-coffee combination went viral on social media, Levis signed a deal with Hellmann’s mayonnaise back in August and will now get a lifetime supply of his favorite sauce.

And now, the Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams has ruffled some feathers with his weird combo. Maybe in the future, the 22-year-old might sign some kind of deal with McDonald’s.

On the sporting side of things, the Lions receiver, who was touted as one of the best prospects in the 2021 class, hasn’t made a huge impact on the Detroit-based football team.

He missed most of the 2021 season with an ACL injury, which he suffered during his final game for Alabama Crimson Tide. He ended up playing 6 games and caught only 1 pass for 41 yards and a touchdown.

Furthermore, he also got into trouble for betting on non-NFL football games from the Lions facility. He was suspended for 6 games, which was later reduced to 2 games. After serving his suspension, Williams has played in 5 games this season and is still looking for a breakout game.
