The NFL draft 2022 is all over, and it has seen a plethora of talented footballers achieve their dream move into the NFL. The draft has thrown up plenty of heartfelt stories about young college players, who will have a chance to make their mark in the biggest stage of all cometh this season.

Alabama wide receiver, Jameson Williams was drafted as the 12th overall pick by the Detroit Lions on Day 1 of the NFL draft. The 21-year old made quite a name for himself during his sophomore years and it was no surprise to see him being drafted by the Lions.

After the draft, Jameson Williams’ father shared a special message for his son, which was shared by the official NFL Twitter account. The video shows, Williams listening to his big man speak and then he responded in his own way.

Jameson Williams’ dad said, “What’s up, bro? It’s been a long road. We had arguments, we ran together, we ran apart and it’s all for this. Today’s your day, I told you a long time ago… Today you get to rejoice. One deep breath then it’s onto the gold jacket. Always remember that together we are strong, separate we are weak. One love bro.”

“I don’t really have much to say after messages like that. The first step out of the way. It’s a new start , a new beginning so just looking forward to it,” said Jameson Williams.
