The Dallas Cowboys are the most valuable team in the NFL with their worth reaching 8 Billion USD this month. Along with this, they are also one of the most successful teams with 5 Superbowls. But with all that success comes fans and haters, and the Cowboys have a fair share of both.

ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith is the most vocal Dallas Cowboys hater on the face of the planet, while Skip Bayless is one of the biggest fan. Smith has proclaimed countless times his hatred for the Cowboys’ faithful. He has also expressed his glee on their misery when their team loses through various platforms, any time the Cowboys have a misstep Smith is there to celebrate.

So when Smith touched down in Dallas in the Cowboys’ helicopter it was a dramatic scene. Although Smith has often acknowledged that he quite likes the Cowboys’ Hall of Fame Owner Jerry Jones but doesn’t like the team and especially their fans. It was still a sight to see them both together. Jones admitted that he was trying to win Smith over and make him take back some of the vitriol directed towards the Cowboys over the years.

Smith knows how to make a show and an entrance- “Now, you know, if this is me, I got to show up at the big time. I can’t just show up in big thing. I can’t just show up if I can’t just show up at the Cowboys facility in just any kind of ordinary fashion. I needed to be here. I’m in the helicopter. My guy next to me ladies and gentlemen.”

Introducing Jerry Jones as the camera panned out who apparently was trying to make it easier for his team and its fans with this gesture, “They said he was coming to town I had to make a choice get him a stick horse or a mule car or take this cowboy helicopter out here. If I could, possibly, get him on that helicopter, and it’s really good, then I might get him to recant what he’s said about the Cowboys. But I know one thing, he loves me up here today because he’s going down.”
