The Buffalo Bills’ heiress Jessica Pegula, an exceptional tennis player herself, wants to win the Super Bowl. The Bills are one of the contenders to win it all this season as they have one of the most talented QBs in the league, Josh Allen. The roster is full of great players and the expectation in the Bills’ organization is to win the Super Bowl, starting from the top.
Jessica Pegula is the daughter of Bills’ billionaire owner Terry Pegula. She is also one of the best tennis players on the women’s circuit and is looking to become the first American female player to win the US Open in five years. In an interview with US Open, she said “I hope a Super Bowl. I hope we have a great year, I hope Josh Allen balls out but, we’ll see. They’re in training camp now. Hopefully, everyone stays healthy. That’s what I really hope.”
Terry Pegula bought the team in 2014. Since then the team has shown steady growth and by drafting QB Josh Allen, they created a juggernaut. They have been to the playoffs in 4 of Allen’s 5 seasons with them and will hope to get their hands on that Super Bowl trophy in February next year.
The Buffalo Bills open their season against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium on September 11. They have split their two preseason games so far and will play their final preseason game against the Chicago Bears this Saturday. Pegula, on the other hand, will open her US Open campaign against Camila Giorgi on August 28.
Will the Josh Allen-Stefon Diggs pairing work amidst rumors of rift between them?
The Buffalo Bills have a deadly QB-WR duo in Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs. The duo have been elite in their three seasons together. However, there have been rumors about them being at odds with each other. Although these rumors have been played down by both Diggs and Allen.
These rumors started after Bills’ divisional-round loss to the Cincinnati Bengals last season. A video of Diggs seemingly upset with Allen for not throwing him the ball went viral on the internet. This wasn’t the first time Diggs was upset with Allen.
It seems these rumors are exactly what they are, rumors. Diggs and Allen, since that incident, have made their truce and are expected to do big things for the Bills this season. They begin their season against the Jets on September 11 in MetLife Stadium and will hope to begin on a positive note with a win.
