Robert Saleh, the new head coach of the New York Jets, finally passed his remark on what his running back Breece Hall said after their poor loss against the Dallas Cowboys. The Jets had one of the worst performances against the Cowboys. Due to the absence of their star quarterback Aaron Rodgers, the team relied on Zach Wilson as their star quarterback.

The player had one of his worst performances against the Cowboys. Breece Hall was so frustrated after the game that he questioned the team’s mentality and tactics. He said that the team miscalculated the situation and went with the wrong strategy. “I mean, I only got four touches. That’s why we struggled. It is what it is. We just got down early today and just abandoned the run. That type of stuff happens. You feel like you have to get back in the game and it just slips away,” Hall told the reporters.

Now the head coach Robert Saleh rallied behind his wide receiver. In response to what Heel said, Saleh added that he is frustrated about the way the Jets played. He added that the Jets did get a lot of balls and that is concerning him. “Shoot I’m frustrated, but I don’t think it was intentional. I’m frustrated because we didn’t get him the ball because they weren’t on the field, he was on the bench. It’s hard to get the guy the ball,” he added.

The Jets had a horrible display against the Cowboys. They did away with their running game and relied on Zach Wilson’s arm play. It backfired as Wilson was not up to his mark. In fact, he was one of the weakest points for the Jets. Hence the Jets had to succumb to a loss.

The performances of Zach Wilson and Breece Hall

Both Zach Wilson and Breece Hall were a disappointment against the Cowboys. The team relied so much on Wilson’s arm play and Wilson in return failed to match their expectations. The player completed only 12 of his 27 passes for 170 yards and had one touchdown. He was intercepted three times which cost his team a lot. In fact, these three interceptions had a major role in changing the colours of the game.

Heel, on the other hand, had only four catches and nine rushing yards. He averaged 2.2 per attempt.

The availability of Aaron Rodgers seems unsure till the playoffs. But if the Jets have to make it through to the playoffs, Zach Wilson has to do better.
