The Jimmy Kimmel–Aaron Rodgers saga is getting more attention once again. After the public feud between the two, Kimmel has no plans to host Rodgers shortly. He would rather even be comfortable with having the former US President Donald Trump on show.
The saga started after Aaron Rodgers claimed that Kimmel might have a connection to the convicted pedophile and sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. After that Kimmel went all in on Rodgers. He even threatened Rodgers, warning about taking legal action against him.
After Kimmel went all guns blazing, the veteran quarterback had to take his tone down. The quarterback again appeared on the Pat McAfee show and explained his stance on Kimmel. He clarified to an extent that he did not want to claim that Kimmel was connected to Epstein. He also noted that the mainstream media was targeting him.
Despite the clarification, the relationship between the two never returned to normalcy. Recently, CNN asked Kimmel whether he would like to have Rodgers on his show. Although he said that he wouldn’t, he kept one option open. If Rodgers made the first move, he might think.
Kimmel told CNN when asked whether he would like to have Rodgers on his show as a guest in a parallel world:
Probably not.Jimmy Kimmel said
He continued:
The way I look at it. The next step is for Aaron Rodgers to reach out to me – not the other way around. So, I don’t see that happening. Listen, we have some major differences in the way we think.Jimmy Kimmel added
Jimmy Kimmel has ‘no problem’ with Donald Trump
Jimmy Kimmel might pose a fierce opposition to Donald Trump but he has no problem in hosting the former POTUS in his show. In the interview, he made it clear that he would ‘like’ to host the former US President.
Here is what Kimmel had to say about the same:
I would absolutely have him on the show. I do think there are a lot of questions I would like to ask him, and I would like to get actual answers. I think most of the interviews that he does don’t require those.Jimmy Kimmel said
After his defeat in the previous election, Trump is eying a comeback in the 2024 US election. It is to be seen whether he agrees to have a conversation with Kimmel.
