On Monday, United States President Joe Biden welcomed the NHL champions Vegas Golden Knights to celebrate their Stanley Cup victory. Later, Biden made a speech and talked about how Las Vegas is becoming one of the top sports cities, as they have won championship titles in multiple sports.

Furthermore, he also made a joke about Las Vegas luring the NFL franchise Philadelphia Eagles to their city as another team.

But somehow, Biden got the idea of Las Vegas luring the Eagles out of Philadelphia to their city. Since his wife Jill Biden is a die-hard Philly fan, he joked about Las Vegas making that happen.

Nobody knows how Biden got the idea that Las Vegas is trying to lure the Eagles to their city. The Las Vegas Raiders already have a home in Vegas and they’re not a big enough market to host two NFL teams, at least right now. They may bring in the MLB franchise Oakland Athletics, but it is highly unlikely they’re even trying to get the Eagles to their city.

Philadelphia is crazy about their sports. They might be the craziest fan base in all of the NFL. So, there is no way the team would look to move away from that city. It is unclear where Biden got the idea of the Eagles moving to Vegas and fans couldn’t comprehend that theory either.
