“Our window is always open,” Cincinnati QB Joe Burrow believes the Bengals have the potential to establish themselves as a DYNASTY
Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow is confident about his team going back to the Super Bowl not just this year but for the rest of his career.
Joe Burrow
Joe Burrow deserves to be nicknamed Mr. Reassured. The young quarterback is confident in the skillset and abilities of not just the Cincinnati Bengals squad but also likes to believe that as long as he is there at QB1, the team’s championship window will always be open. Following their 27-16 victory over a Lamar Jackson-less Baltimore Ravens, Joey B brought out his iconic cigar to mark the end of a successful regular season.
The last time Burrow brought the cigar out was in 2020 when he led LSU to the national championship and subsequently when he led the Bengals to Super Bowl LVI. Going into the playoffs, Joe Burrow is feeling pretty good and confident about the odds of the Bengals.
“The window’s my whole career, and everybody we have in that locker room, all the coaches we have, things are gonna change year to year, but our window is always open.” The quarterback is pretty optimistic about his team’s odds this season and heading into the future.
Joe Burrow has been phenomenal this season:
The young quarterback has been one of the most consistent players across the NFL this season. The Bengals won the division and Burrow has 35 touchdowns and the team record for having thrown the most touchdowns in a season. “It’s good to get this one. Gonna have to play better next week to get the win,” he stated in a presser following the team’s victory.
The Bengals have not had the best track record historically. It is just the fourth time in team history that they have been able to win 12 games or more. The franchise is yet to win a Super Bowl, they are 0-3 when it comes to that. However, with Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, and Tee Higgins, the locker room appears to be reinvigorated, and it may not be a far fetch to expect a Super Bowl win from the Cincinnati Bengals in the coming years.
