Joe Burrow has been a revelation for the Cincinnati Bengals ever since he was drafted No.1 overall in 2020. His consistent exceptional performance has helped transform the team into something different.

Burrow is considered one of the best QBs in the NFL currently. However, the 26-year-old wants to reign on top of the QB hierarchy. Nonetheless, greatness recognizes greatness, and that’s what Burrow did in his recent press conference.

The Bengals QB declared Patrick Mahomes as the best QB in the NFL currently. Burrow is considered his main rival. The Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl last season by defeating the Bengals in the AFC championship.

“I don’t think there is any argument now, it’s Pat,” Joe Burrow said on Tuesday at the start of the team’s mandatory three-day minicamp. “Until somebody has a better year than he’s had. He’s the one to knock off.”

Although Burrow leads the head-to-head rivalry, he still believes Mahomes is better than him currently. Joe Burrow and co. will have to improve considerably to challenge Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs.

The LSU alum QB was adamant to improve his game and challenge the best in his quest for greatness. He has transformed the Bengals from an average team to Super Bowl contenders, now he wants to win the Lombardi Trophy.

The Bengals have never won the Super Bowl in the entirety of their career. Joe Burrow has been the catalyst for change in Cincinnati and the young QB is confident that he’ll bring a Lombardi Trophy.

In the past two seasons, the Bengals have managed to get to the Super Bowl and the AFC championship, respectively. Now, Burrow wants more and desires to win the Super Bowl.

“The goals never really change for me,” Joe Burrow stated. “They never really have. The top of the mountain is always the goal personally and team-wise. So even coming into the league, that was my goal. I wouldn’t say that’s changed year to year.”

The Bengals QB had his best season last year where he was an MVP finalist and was even named for his first Pro Bowl. He also threw 35 touchdowns, which is a franchise record and his own career high.

Many analysts and players have predicted that Joe Burrow will get his hands on the MVP award next year. With that, the Bengals try to chase down the Chiefs for Super Bowl victory.
