On Thursday, the Cincinnati Bengals suffered a huge blow as their star quarterback Joe Burrow suffered a wrist injury in their week 11 game against the Baltimore Ravens. In a crucial game, Burrow was pulled out early in the second quarter and was ruled out for the rest of the game.

According to reports, the Bengals head coach Zac Taylor believes Joe Burrow has sprained his wrist. The injury affected Burrow’s throwing motion and he couldn’t continue playing with it. As a result, he was pulled out of the game early and the second-string quarterback Jake Browning had to cover for him the rest of the game.

The injury happened during the second quarter of the game when Burrow threw a 4-yard touchdown pass to the Bengals’ running back Joe Mixon. After throwing the touchdown pass, Burrow could be seen in obvious pain on Cincinnati’s sidelines. Furthermore, Burrow tried to throw the ball on the sidelines, but he couldn’t even grip the ball as a result of a wrist injury.

Burrow shook his head in disbelief and ran toward the locker room for further evaluations. So far, there are no implications that the QB could miss some games because of the wrist injury. But, it is possible, he can miss some of the Bengals’ games and they would have to go forward with Browning as their leader.

Joe Burrow just recently recovered from his calf injury, which he suffered back in August. And now, he has once again facing injury issues. The Bengals are hoping for a quick recovery of Burrow, but it’s time Cincinnati’s front office started thinking about investing in the offensive line to protect their $257 million signal-caller.

According to reports, before the Bengals-Ravens game, Cincinnati’s social media profile posted a video of Burrow’s arrival on the ground. But they swiftly deleted the video after fans noticed Burrow wearing a cast on his right hand.

Later in the game, Burrow suffered the injury in the same hand. He was wearing a cast. This led to people believing Burrow might’ve played the game with an unreported injury and aggravated it during the game.

It should be noted that the Bengals didn’t report Burrow’s hand issues in the injury report ahead of the game. So, if the accusations are found to be true, the NFL might consider punishing the Cincinnati-based football team. As of now, the Bengals haven’t addressed the accusations.
