“I hate attention”: Joe Burrow says media attention makes him extremely ANXIOUS

Joe Burrow

Joe Burrow is one of the poster boys of the NFL at this point. He had a magnificent season last time around. Whenever the Cincinnati Bengals needed him, he was there to drag his team out of trouble. Even under extreme pressure, the team from Cincinnati was able to win games after games and a lot of credit for it has to go to mighty Joe.

His individual performances and his leadership quality paved the way for the underdogs to make it big. Although the Bengals couldn’t cross the line during the final battle, they sure earned a lot of fans and are now being considered serious contenders for the 2022 season.

“I love playing the Ravens”: Joe Burrow

Recently, Joe appeared on the Full Send Podcast and gave his viewpoint on a variety of topics. When asked why he likes playing against the Baltimore Ravens, Joe claimed that they talk a lot and it really gets him going. “I love playing the Ravens, they talk, I love that,” he said.

He reflected on the fact that his team ended up thrashing the side from Baltimore on both the occasions they played against each other last year which was pretty satisfying. Burrow went on to add that he doesn’t usually start the talking, “but if somebody pokes me, I can talk a little bit.

As it turns out, when it comes to talking in the media, Joe isn’t as comfortable in expressing himself as he is on the field. “I love playing football, but I don’t like everything that comes with it. I hate the attention, I get anxiety,” Joe said during the podcast. He added that he appreciates all the admiration he gets from the fans but taking pictures and stuff like that sometimes turn out to be way too much to handle.

Joe has been the gamechanger for the Bengals. He is indeed a prized possession for the Bengals and if handled correctly, he might turn out to be one of the all-time greats of the game.
