The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is not hoping much about the Cincinnati Bengals’ Super Bowl chances in the future. The quarterback took a different stance from his wide receiver, Ja’Marr Chase who had a contrary belief. Burrow believes that things are easy to tell but much more difficult to do in reality.

It's easy to say it's harder to do, right?--We've been there we've done that, but who knows how it would have played out. You know, I was confident in where we were heading in the direction that we were going within the season.

Joe Burrow had a frustrating 2023-24 season with the Bengals as he suffered a finger injury that ended his campaign early on. The quarterback started his season with a lot of injury concerns. He slowly gathered steam in between games and was coming back to his usual form when the untimely injury finished his season.

Despite his departure as a starter for the season, the quarterback remained dedicated to the team’s cause as he went regularly to the defensive meetings every day. His perseverance was appreciated by the defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo, who said that the Burrow is one of a kind.

He’s such a football junkie that he’s sitting in on defensive meetings just to see how that stuff goes--He’s one of a kind.

Burrow, is however, now getting ready for the coming season. After the surgery, he is recovering very smoothly and is expected to take part in organized team activities in the off-season, something that he missed last season.

The Cincinnati Bengals are seen as the one who can stop the Chiefs golden run

The 2023-24 season witnessed a clutch campaign for the Kansas City Chiefs. Many analysts had written them off following their sluggish performance in the regular season. However, the Andy Reid team defeated all odds and made it to the Super Bowl LVIII. They had a clutch victory over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, and grabbed their third Super Bowl ring in five years.

The Chiefs hold a very good playoff record since Patrick Mahomes became their starter. Only two QBs have managed to defeat Mahomes-led team in the postseason in these six years—the retired Tom Brady and Bengals signal caller Joe Burrow.

In the 2021-22 season, the Bengals defeated the Chiefs in the AFC Championship game and made a place in the Super Bowl. It was Burrow’s brilliance that outplayed the Chiefs in the postseason. Nevertheless, the Bengals failed to win the Super Bowl following a defeat against the eventual winner Los Angeles Rams.

Analyst Skip Bayless, in the latest episode of his show Undisputed, claimed that the Bengals are the only team that can prevent the Chiefs from winning their third straight Super Bowl. According to him no other team except the Bengals presently holds the firepower to stop Patrick Mahomes, who is now 15-3 in playoffs.
