Aaron Rodgers is once again receiving a lot of media attention in the off-season and it’s not for good reasons. The talented Packers quarterback receiving attention from the Jets doesn’t bode well for the people associated with the New York team. In that trend, the former Jets defensive lineman Joe Klecko has now claimed that the four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers won’t be a good fit for the Jets.

During a recent episode of the Zach Gelb Show of CBS Sports Radio, the Hall of Fame defensive lineman Joe Klecko said that he believes Rodgers won’t fit well with the young Jets locker room. “I don’t think Rodgers is a fit with the young guys,” Klecko told Gelb on the radio segment. “I relate this to myself when we came up as a young team when we started winning. Why it was a good fit for all of us was because we all worked together and came up together.”

Furthermore, the four-time Pro Bowler went on to claim that even though the former Super Bowl champion Rodgers is a good player, he doesn’t have the perfect attitude. “He’s a great player. You don’t become an MVP three times without doing what he’s done. When he didn’t have the perfect arrangement with receivers and the line, his attitude was condescending somewhat to the players.” The 2-time All-Pro defensive lineman also implied that the Offensive Rookie of the Year winner Garrett Wilson won’t put up with the Packers QB, lambasting him in the huddle over every single mistake.

After thrashing the Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers over his condescending attitude, Klecko revealed that the New York Jets might go after the former Raiders QB Derek Carr.

“I see a guy like [Derek] Carr, who is an All-Pro,” Klecko told Gelb. “He hasn’t been an MVP, but he has had some great years. I just can’t see them going after a guy that has had all his years and had his way. And then, when it doesn’t turn out his way, he goes dark. I just can’t see it.”

Moreover, when the show host Zach Gelb asked the former defensive tackle whether he believes that Aaron Rodgers could ruin the Jets’ locker room. To which, Klecko replied by saying, “Yes, absolutely.”

This is the second time a former Jets player has called out Rodgers over his attitude. Just a few days ago, former Jets CB Darrelle Revis warned the Packers QB to “come in humble” if he wants to play for the New York-based football team.
