The NFL was pushing for an indefinite stay for the Jon Gruden case as it was tarnishing their and Roger Goodell’s reputation, but it was denied by a Nevada judge. Judge Nancy Allf denied it as she thought that the appeal by the NFL lacked merit.

After the NFL was denied an indefinite stay, they pushed for a 45-day stay instead but were denied there as well. Gruden now seeks monetary damages from the NFL for tarnishing his reputation and also the 10-year $100 million contract.

Jon Gruden also alleged in the lawsuit that the emails were leaked mid-season to cause maximum damage to Gruden. It is also believed that the NFL had a vested interest in throwing Jon Gruden out of the league and he never got a fair trial.

The league has also refused to detail the full investigation behind their workings and practices relating to racism and sexism in the Commanders football team.

Jon Gruden and his team are going all in fighting the NFL and Roger Goodell for what they think is right as people are still finding out the reality behind the closed doors of the NFL.
