Jonathan Owens supports wife Simone Biles in a UNIQUE way as he struggles making time to watch her perform live amid Packers preseason commitments

The Green Bay Packers’ safety Jonathan Owens is married to USA gymnastics star Simone Biles. They tied the knot earlier this year in April. It is hard for married professional athletes to attend each other’s events. Biles is competing at the U.S. Championships and Owens is playing for the Packers in the NFL preseason. As such, Owens is unable to watch his wife perform at the championships.
He recently shared a few stories on his Instagram account as he tuned in to watch his partner perform. He wrote ‘Tuned in’ with a couple of heart emojis. Owens signed with the Packers this off-season.
Owens signed with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent after the 2018 NFL Draft. He was waived by the Cardinals in 2019. Since then he played for the Houston Texans till 2022. Biles and Owens got engaged in 2022 after over a year of dating.
Owens has featured in each of the Packers’ first two preseason games and will be a part of their final preseason game today. They will play the Seattle Seahawks in their third and final preseason game. The Packers begin their campaign against the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field on September 10.

Can Jonathan Owens make his mark in Green Bay this season?
The Green Bay Packers are in rebuild mode. They lost their franchise quarterback in Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets. They also lost some key pieces, most notably Allen Lazard, again, to the Jets. The Packers have a young quarterback this season and will look to make this year as fun as possible for their fans.
They signed former Arizona Cardinals and Houston Texans safety Jonathan Owens this off-season. Owens has failed to make any noise in the NFL so far and will hope to make his mark on a young Green Bay Packers team. Owens married his girlfriend and USA gymnast Simone Biles earlier this year.
Owens signed with the Arizona Cardinals in 2018 as an undrafted free agent but failed to make a spot for himself in the team. He spent the next four years in Houston but did not have a breakout year. Now he will play for the young Packers team and will hope to contribute right from the outset. He might be able to create a spot for himself in the team this season. The Packers open their season against the divisional rivals Chicago Bears on September 10.
