Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers season went under the radar until they started beating teams like the Detroit Lions (9-3) and the Kansas City Chiefs (8-4) on weeks 12 and 13, respectively. Suddenly, from a team with a rating of under .500 this season, they are now smacked down the middle of the pile with six wins and six losses.

Even though it’s Love’s fourth season in the NFL, this is the first year he has been handed the starting quarterback job. After four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers moved on to the Big Apple, analysts such as Colin Cowherd brushed off the 25-year-old as a long-term solution to Rodgers.

He replied with 250 pass completions for 2866 passing yards while securing 20 touchdowns and 10 interceptions, for a completion rate of 61.3%. Not only that, Jordan Love boasts a quarterback rating of 58.3, which is the 14th best in the league. However, the 2020 first-round pick doesn’t let the early-season success go to his head.

In a recent interview, Love was asked about what he and the Packers think regarding the remaining fixtures now that they have beaten some heavy hitters along the way. He revealed they will tackle the upcoming matches as if they were play-off games.

We approach it the same way. We take it one week at a time and give all of our focus to whoever gets that week, and we give everyone respect. There's no need for any reminders. We know exactly what position we are in. Every game is like a playoff game for us, and we know we just have to win out, so this team doesn't need a reminder of that.

The Packers kick off their proceeding with a trip to the MetLife Stadium to face the New York Giants, who have recently seen some uptick in form, winning the last two games (Washington and New England). Still, they have won four games all season, and the oddsmakers are favoring Jordan Love by a 6.5-point margin over the Giants.

Their next opponent will be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They currently sit with a .417 record with 5 wins and 7 losses. Followed by the already-eliminated from the playoffs the Carolina Panthers.

The Packers will close out their season with games against NFC North rivals the Minnesota Vikings and the Chicago Bears. Love dropped 245 yards and 3 touchdowns on the opening day of the 2023 season against the Bears, winning the game 20-38.

It was Kirk Cousins‘ show on week 7 at Lambeau Field before his season-ending injury. The Vikings recorded a comfortable 24-10 win against the Packers. Love did throw for 229 yards and a touchdown. Currently, Minnesota occupies the top spot in the NFC North with the same record (6-6) as the Packers, who are barely clinging onto the last playoff spot in the NFC.
