Josh Allen has proven himself to be a quality QB ever since being drafted in the NFL. The 26-year-old QB has been in the MVP conversation for several years now and is constantly pushing for a place in the elite QBs in the league.
However, there is a QB who is far more qualified and talented than himself. Patrick Mahomes is slowly turning into an NFL all-time great. The 27-year-old QB has already won 2 Super Bowls in his first six seasons. He was also the undisputed regular season MVP and Super Bowl MVP.
Still, Mahomes is far from a league of his own and has serious competition from other QBs in the AFC. Joe Burrow from the Cincinnati Bengals and Josh Allen from the Buffalo Bills are proving to be worthy contenders for the best QB crown. However, Allen conceited defeat recently when he called Mahomes the best QB in the AFC while talking on the podcast ‘The Kyle Brandt’s Basement.’
Allen believes that Burrow and him won’t be able to surpass Mahomes until they have a Super Bowl to show for it. Both Burrow and Allen were knocked out in the NFL playoffs last season, and Mahomes went on to win the Lombardi Trophy.
“Until I, Joe [Burrow], or anybody else wins a Super Bowl, I think Pat is the clear number one right now,” Josh Allen stated on the Podcast. “He’s been playing at a high level for so long and has the championship rings to prove it.”
Allen is not completely wrong, as Patrick Mahomes has led the Kansas City Chiefs to 5 consecutive AFC championships and has also led them to 3 Super Bowls while winning 2 of them.

Josh Allen and Joe Burrow are not far behind Patrick Mahomes

Currently, Patrick Mahomes is the undisputed champion of the NFL and will soon be considered an all-time great. Fortunately, Josh Allen and Joe Burrow are not that far behind.
Allen helped the Bills’ bag the AFC East title last season, something they have been dominating for a long time now. However, they later lost to the Burrow-led Bengals in the divisional round of the playoffs.
The Bills QB had a great performance during the regular season and was ranked 3rd in the MVP voting. With the next season just around the corner, both Josh Allen and Joe Burrow will be looking to get the best of Mahomes and try to win the Super Bowl over him and the Chiefs.
