Josh Allen suffered a UCL injury in the Bills-Jets game and since then the QB has been highly questionable to start against the Vikings. Many analysts predicted that Allen will take a rest for the Vikings game, but new footage suggests otherwise.
The Buffalo Bills QB was present in the most recent practice session and Allen wasn’t seen wearing a brace or a sleeve arm, which makes us believe that the MVP contender has recovered from his injury.
Josh Allen quickly ran away towards the locker room when he saw the media as the Bills don’t want to confirm anything, as naming their starting QB will give an unwanted advantage to the Vikings.
“We are literally in an hour-to-hour situation here just looking at how he’s going to progress through the day,” coach Sean McDermott said Friday. “And as he goes through these different tests, medically, making sure that he’s able to check the boxes in a progression to where we can see if we can proceed through the course of the day here.”
The Bills management didn’t want to confirm anything as Allen is still recovering, although doctors have recently suggested that even if the QB starts against the Vikings, there won’t be any added risk to further worsen the injury.
The Bills haven’t yet named their squad for the Vikings game, but it is highly suspected that Allen will make the roster as the Bills want to add to their great 6-2 record.
