The New England Patriots’ HC Bill Belichick has been in the news for his team’s dismal performance this season. The legendary head coach was under pressure to deliver and has failed to do so since the departure of Tom Brady in 2020. This season in particular was Belichick’s toughest season as the Patriots’ head coach.

As a result of that, rumors of a potential Patriots-Belichick divorce are gaining momentum. There have been reports about the organization moving on from the six-time Super Bowl champion after the season. Amidst all these murmurs, former Patriot Julian Edelman shared his thoughts on his former head coach’s future.

So this is gonna be a very tough conversation, because they're both gonna lay out their points. And you know, it's been such a great thing for such a long time. The former WR claims that the Dallas Cowboys might be a potential destination for his former HC.

Edelman said:

What about Dallas? What if Mike McCarthy gets knocked out of the playoffs early? Bill over there with that top 10 offensive line and talent ... they'd at least be fundamentally sound. McCarthy gets a lot of penalties and that clock management... in the game against the Lions the moment just looked too big.
Julian Edelman added

The Patriots will look to end their season on a positive note on Sunday against the New York Jets. It might potentially be Belichick’s final game as the Patriots’ HC.
