Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes might have had a slight edge when he played in the “The Match” with National Football League (NFL) counterparts Josh Allen, Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady.
The Texas native Mahomes and teammate Travis Kelce clinched the “8AM Golf Invitational” title, hosted by popular Hollywood singer/actor Justin Timberlake. The event consisted of a bunch of other top names as participants such as the likes of “Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon, star golfer Michelle Wie West, actress Kathryn Newton, tennis star Genie Bouchard, actor Chase Crawford and the legendary swimmer Michael Phelps.
The official Instagram handle of the tournament wrote a congratulatory message for the winners.

“Kelce and Fallon had a fun exchange about a putter”
Kelce, the American football tight end for the Kansas City and Fallon had a fun exchange about a putter after the Chiefs stars were given their trophies for winning the tournament.
“Funny thing about the putter is I actually wanted to throw it. I feel like Jimmy looked at me and then saw my frustration … this thing hasn’t worked ALL DAY.”
Fallon said: “I felt it! I felt it! Look at you, you’re like a different guy.”
“I feel different,” Kelce quipped, as quoted by The Kansas City Stars.
Mahomes said: “We’d like to just say it was a great time. Justin appreciates you having us out here and let’s run this back next year!”
