NFL fans are some of the most passionate ones when it comes to all sports. While the Philadelphia Eagles have earned the reputation of being one of the most notorious fanbases across the league, other fan bases are catching up to them. In recent years, the Kansas City Chiefs have had a great track record when it comes to making the playoffs and coming close to the Super Bowl.

Chiefs Kingdom has shown up and showed out to every game to cheer for their team led by the incredible Patrick Mahomes. While that is all well and good, every fanbase does have its share of rotten apples. Early in December, when the Kansas City Chiefs faced off against the Houston Texans, super fan Xavier Babudar faced off against the law as he robbed a bank in Tulsa. Babudar is 28 years old and was accused of robbing the Tulsa Teacher Credit Union in Bixby.

The robbery took place on the 16th of December and the accused wore a mask and entered the bank at around 9:45 AM. Xavier Babudar is a regular at the Chiefs’ games and he can be recognized with his unique wolf mask. When he was arrested, law enforcement recovered a paintball mask with money in his backpack as per the official report. His initial bail amount was set at $200,000.

A Judge in Tulsa County has reduced his bail amount from $200,000 to $80,000 now. As per recent affidavits, it has been determined that Xavier is broke and homeless. He had filed an affidavit on the 22nd of December wherein he mentioned that he did not have a job since 2020 and is requesting a public defender be appointed on his behalf. He has been in jail since December and it does not look like he will be getting out any time soon.

When the news of his bail amount being reduced surfaced on Twitter, fans had mixed responses to it:

So there’s a literal life on the line if the Chiefs fail to win the Super Bowl.

If KC wins the Super Bowl, in all likelihood, Mahomes will be the MVP.

He has no option but to remain behind bars as of now.

Chiefs kingdom is really wild, absolutely no chill.

He should be allowed.

Patrick Mahomes would have paid off a man’s bond if he wins this Super Bowl.

It is to be seen if the Chiefs’ lucky streak of winning games after Xavier’s arrest continues or if it does not pan out. It is an interesting conspiracy theory nonetheless.
