“Thank Goodness”: Kelvin Joseph is mighty relieved after being cleared from MURDER investigation

Kelvin Joseph

Kelvin Joseph is a Cornerback currently playing for the Dallas Cowboys. He was drafted in 2021 and has since appeared in 10 games for the cowboys in the last season. What comes as a major relief for the cornerback, “Joseph, who was not involved in the shooting, has been cleared by Dallas County officials, being truthful and forthcoming during the investigation,” a recent report stated.

After being cleared from the murder investigation, Joseph is asked to report for training on Monday to prepare for the upcoming season. Mike McCarthy, coach of the Dallas cowboys supports the 22-year-old and stated that “I understand the concern, and I just want you to know that when the situation occurred, we had a lot of internal conversation that was in-depth,” he said. “Based on the information we’ve been given, we felt it was important to support him.”

The Cowboys have stood firm on the issue that Kelvin Joseph is good to go from a legal standpoint

The incident occurred on March 18 when Joseph was caught on the camera inside and outside a bar. He also appeared on footage showing him and a group engaging in an altercation with another group including Ray the deceased. Another video shows an SUV passing by that shot Ray as he walked through the parking lot.

The Dallas police sought him for questioning nearly one month after he was identified to be a part of the group that was involved in the killing of Cameron Ray. Joseph reportedly cooperated with the police throughout the questioning and gave his complete support to the police to help them during the investigation. His lawyer stated that Joseph was in the vehicle but didn’t take part in the killing and fully cooperated with the police. Following this, the cowboys were satisfied with Joseph’s cooperation and included him in the team’s off-season program.

A source states that the NFL is still monitoring his situation and observing Joseph’s cooperation with the Dallas police. The only thing we know for certain is that Joseph’s been cleared from the investigation and is back training with the team.
