NBA ace Kevin Durant recently shared his thoughts on the downfall of NFL legends Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers. Brady, 45, and Rodgers, 38, are having a terrible season according to their high standards. The two quarterbacks are finding it difficult to lead their team’s offense and talk about them retiring after this season has sparked due to this.

Speaking with Eddie Gonzalez on the ETCs podcast, Durant addressed the issue. The 34-year-old himself is a huge Rodgers fan and said that their time hasn’t come yet. Instead, he believes that despite his age and injury, Rodgers is throwing the football absolutely well. He also said that he can see Brady play till 50. He was amazed by the fact that Brady could play at this level at 45.

“No, it’s not. Did you see the way in which he was throwing that football? With 4 fingers, he still could throw that thing. Tom Brady, I see him playing until he’s 50. He’s a 45-year-old playing football and he still looks good,” Durant said.

Durant further said that it is still not over for the legends. He accepted that the young quarterbacks are very good and have a good future, but also claimed that Rodgers and Brady aren’t liabilities on the field. He added that they may not have it in them to be the face of the league right now, but they surely have the caliber to star as the QB1 for their teams.

“I don’t think it’s over. Obviously, the younger quarterbacks in the league have a bright future ahead and you could honestly see the end with those two but they are not liabilities out there. They still can play football, I think. It’s definitely over for them to be the faces of the league but they can still be starting quarterbacks in this league for sure,” Durant added.

Brady’s Bucs are No.1 in the NFC South division while Rodgers’ Packers are currently third in the NFC North division with a poor 4-8 record for the season.
