Last Thursday night’s football game ended up striking multiple player injuries, as both teams suffered, especially the Cincinnati Bengals. The game resulted in the Baltimore Ravens’ victory at 34-20, led by quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Ravens are now leading the AFC North division at 8-3, while the Bengals are at the very bottom with 5-5 record. In reference to how the game ended, the sports analyst and former NFL wide receiver, Keyshawn Johnson voiced his opinion appreciating the star QB of the Ravens.

Lamar is really good. He's good. I don't understand why people have this weird notion that every week, he needs to do something. 'He needs to run the ball better' or 'he needs to throw better' or 'he didn't miss the target over here,' yeah it happens to all quarterbacks when he is dissected different by the viewers, than many quarterbacks in the NFL, which is mind-boggling to me.

Against the Bengals, the quarterback threw two touchdown passes for 264 yards. Although he suffered an ankle injury last in the first quarter, he knocked it down and came back more strongly.

If I can keep a quarterback under 30 attempts and he can complete 25. It's a perfect game plan…250 yards.. the big number is the zero on the turnover interception column and if I can run the football for 125+ yards, I'm probably gonna win that game multiple times.

What could it mean for the Bengals without Joe Burrow?

After suffering a torn ligament in his right arm in the second quarter on Thursday night, Bengals QB Joe Burrow has been ruled out for the remaining season, as he is proceeding with surgery. His injury was quite serious from the moment he sustained it, after the 4-yard touchdown pass to running back Joe Mixon.

As Burrow is benched for the remaining season, the Bengals’ aim for a playoff appearance seems like a very long shot now. On the Undisputed’s recent episode, analyst Johnson also talked about the future of the Bengals without their starting quarterback.

Clearly with Joe Burrow's injury, things are different. Tee Higgins doesn't play, now all of a sudden you got Jake Brown at the quarterback. We knew going into the game, it was do or die for the Cincinnati Bengals.

Moving forward, he also highlighted how throughout NFL history, there hasn’t been an NFL team to lead to the playoffs without their starting quarterback.

We can look across the NFL historically though, whenever you lose your starting quarterback when you don't have something else that's dominating---for the most part when you lose your starting quarterback in a game, you probably are not going to win that game when you go up against opponents like Lamar Jackson.

With Burrow out of the picture for the remaining season, the Bengals’ next best option is to go with backup QB Jake Browning or have a look at the free QBs including names like Nick Foles and Mat Ryan.
