The French soccer superstar Kylian Mbappe is the talk of the sporting world for the last few days. Mbappe, whose contract with his current club Paris Saint-Germain expires in 2024, has been in talks with La Liga giants Real Madrid for a new contract. However, now the Saudi Arabia league has swooped in on the Mbappe saga with an insane contract that would surpass the career earnings of the most famous United States athletes, including the New England Patriots icon Tom Brady.

According to multiple reports, the Saudi Arabia club Al-Hilal has offered a $1.1 billion contract to rope in the PSG forward. The record contract includes a $332 million transfer to the club and a $776 million wage for Mbappe to be in Saudi for just a year. This deal would also allow Kylian Mbappe to join his dream club, Real Madrid, in 2024 for free.

For comparison, the greatest NFL QB of all time, Tom Brady, earned $332M in NFL contracts over the course of two decades. Mbappe will earn more than twice Brady’s career earnings in just one year if he ends up accepting the offer. Some reports suggest the defending Ligue 1 champions have given Mbappe the green signal to discuss the offer with Al-Hilal.

It is an ideal situation for all as PSG was actively trying to shop Mbappe since they don’t want to lose him for free in 2024 and the deal would allow Mbappe to join Real Madrid in 2024 for free. Real would be happy as they don’t have to pay a transfer fee for arguably the best player in the world and Al-Hilal would be delighted to get the services of Mbappe for one year, even at a $1.1 billion cost.

The French star Kylian Mbappe is still contemplating his future. Amidst this situation, Mbappe’s insane contract from Al-Hilal worth $1.1 billion has shocked even the top athletes of multiple sports.

Top NBA athletes, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Draymond Green, and Damian Lillard all shared their shock at the insane contract. Even the NBA legend LeBron James had to share his shock toward the massive record-breaking contract.

Mbappe now has 3 choices, he can extend and stay with his current club PSG, he could orchestrate a move to the Spanish soccer giants Real Madrid or he could accept the $1.1 billion offer from Al-Hilal and play for one year in Saudi. The choice may seem obvious to some but Mbappe, who is in his prime right now, has to think about missing playing in the Champions League for a year.
