Lamar ‘loaded’ Jackson should be the Baltimore Ravens quarterback’s new moniker. After negotiations that lasted an entire year and a dramatic offseason with the Ravens, the QB was able to secure the bag with his five-year deal worth $260 million with $185 of it guaranteed. The million-dollar man is now making every single team in the NFL that passed up on him eat dirt with his performance this season.
Lamar Jackson made it known to all his critics and doubters after the Baltimore Ravens DESTROYED the Miami Dolphins 56-19. It was an incredible night for Jackson, who threw for 321 yards and had 5 touchdowns. In addition to this, he solidified his hold over the 1st place in the MVP race. LJ made one gesture after one of his touchdowns that is bound to become iconic.
He mimicked the motion of throwing money away. The quarterback indicated that his throw is pure money and that he never ceases to miss. In addition to this, it also may be a veiled dig at teams across the NFL that passed up the chance to trade for him in the offseason.

Lamar Jackson has been pure money all season long
While Lamar Jackson was negotiating his deal with the Ravens, he did attempt to explore his options and consider trades to other teams. Some GMs made the blatant mistake of coming out publicly under conditions of anonymity and ruled out the possibility of trading for the star quarterback just because they did not have faith in him.
Jackson has shown the Ravens all season long why they made the best decision ever by paying him his worth. This season, he has thrown for 3,678 yards, 24 touchdowns, 7 interceptions, and a QBR of 62.9. He is close to having a 1,000-yard rushing season as he has 821 yards rushing.
With the victory against the Miami Dolphins, the Ravens have clinched the AFC North title and have the 1st seed in the AFC. Jackson recorded a perfect passer rating and owing to his big performance, the team now has the advantage of getting a first-round bye along with home-field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs.
