“They both have small hands,” LeSean McCoy predicts big things for Kenny Pickett as he makes an absurd Joe Burrow comparison

LeSean McCoy spent 12 seasons in the NFL and his career as a running back in the NFL with career that all but guarantees him a spot in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The two-time Super Bowl Champion and 6 time Pro Bowler retired after winning the Super Bowl back-to-back with the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

McCoy was drafted with the 52nd pick in the 2009 NFL draft by the Philadelphia Eagles and spent a few years in Buffalo with the Bills before rounding his career as a 2 time Super Bowl Champ. Recently in an interview, McCoy was asked about fellow University of Pittsburgh alum Kenny Pickett and who in the league Pickett reminds McCoy about.

LeSean McCoy claimed that Joe Burrow and Kenny Pickett are very similar

McCoy has previously compared Pickett to the 2019 Heisman Trophy winner and the no.1 overall pick of the 2020 NFL draft Cincinnati Bengals’ Joe Burrow- “ I am Pitt guy…..Joe Burrow, I am serious. If you look at the comparisons between Joe Burrow and Kenny Pickett it’s identical. The reason why is because first of all they are both older Quarterback. When I say older quarterback, coming into the draft they stayed quite some time[in college]“

McCoy continued” They both have small hands. I know people love to compare the hands. They are both not like super rockets. Joe Burrow’s not just known for throwing the ball down the field far……They both have that confidence that swagger, play tough, both smart guys. Joe Burrow is another level as far as his patience. He has that I don’t know Tom Brady type of swagger. He’s calm, he’s cool, he’s collected. I think Kenny Pickett will get there…..I think Kenny Pickett in due time will be same as Joe Burrow. I do think he’s a lot more athletic.”

Is McCoy biased for his fellow Pitt alum or will Pickett prove him right and one day lead the Steelers to the Super Bowl game like Burrow did last year with the Bengals let’s wait and see?
