The Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is currently having one of the best campaigns of his career so far. On Thursday, the veteran signal-caller furthered his MVP case by throwing for multiple touchdowns against the Seattle Seahawks. However, Fox Sports analyst and former Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy is not impressed with Prescott’s performance.

During a recent episode of Fox Sports show SPEAK, the panel, including LeSean McCoy, Emmanuel Acho, and Joy Taylor were discussing Prescott’s impressive outing against the Seahawks. In the episode, McCoy said Prescott’s outing wasn’t impressive since he didn’t face any adversity in that game.

McCoy said on the show.

LeSean McCoy insinuated that he would only be impressed with Prescott when he bounces back from a bad situation. However, Prescott and the Cowboys’ offense have been nearly flawless in the last few weeks.

During their week 13 game against the Seattle-based football team, Prescott completed a whopping 70.7 percent of his pass attempts for 299 yards and 3 touchdowns. Furthermore, he didn’t get a lot of help from his defense for the most of the game. The game quickly turned into an offensive showdown as both teams managed to finish the game without a single punt.

Yet Prescott managed to lead his team to an impressive victory against the Seahawks. With that performance, he has became one of the frontrunners for the prestigious MVP award in the ongoing NFL season. So, McCoy’s argument doesn’t really have any credibility to it and was even immediately questioned by the show’s guest James Jones.

Nonetheless, Prescott continues to be one of the best quarterbacks in the league in the 2023 regular season. He has registered 3,234 passing yards, and 26 passing touchdowns while throwing for just 6 interceptions in 12 games so far.

If he continues his good for, he certainly has a shot at winning the MVP award for the first time in his career. Next, Prescott and the Cowboys are scheduled to face their NFC East division rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles, in their week 14 matchup.
