The Detroit Lions have once again proved that they are the kings of the NFC North. They hold a commanding lead with a record of 8-2. In their recent game against the Chicago Bears, the Dan Campbell-led team outlasted them to claim a 31-26 victory in week 11.

After the victory, as the team gathered in the Lions’ locker room to celebrate, head coach Dan Campbell gave a fierce yet wholesome speech to his players. As filled with immense excitement, the head coach began his speed howling for his players and cursed words.

We are a resilient team, gentlemen, we are resilient. We go and find a way to win. They freakin’ came out and they fought us, but we f—ing fought harder, and we went and got the win. That’s outstanding.

When the Bears led 26-14, the Lions’ quarterback Jared Goff reached out to wide receiver Jameson Williams to strike a quick touchdown. They cut short the Bears lead to 26-21. Goff got the ball back with merely 2:33 minutes remaining in the game, and all they needed was a touchdown to win.

The team quickly went for an 11-play, 73-yard drive that was completed by running back David Montgomery right while getting into the red zone. Later, Lions’ edge rusher Aidan Hutchinson forced a fumble out of the Bears’ QB by tearing through the offensive line. Since 1962, this has been the best season start ever witnessed by Detroit. The team faces off against the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving.

Fans have become totally obsessed with the post-game energy portrayed by the Detroit Lions in the locker room. Particularly how energetic their head coach Campbell was. As the clip of him giving the speech went viral, fans across social media have reposted and appreciated it. After all, this is the first time that the Lions have come across such amazing plays by their players.

One fan wrote, “Most electric coach in football!” while another wrote, “LOVE THIS COACH IM AFRAID.” Many fans also gave a shoutout to the howl that Head Coach Campbell and the whole team did in the locker room.

One fan even jokingly compared Campbell’s scream to an instance from the Tom & Jerry cartoon, when Jerry slammed the door at Tom’s tail. Surely, the Lions are leading the NFC North, and if they keep on playing with this level and speed, they might pave their way straight to the playoffs as the number one seed in the NFC.
