“Waiting for it to be over,” Matt Araiza’s accuser reveals traumatic details following gang-rape allegations on Bills punter

Matt Araiza has gone from becoming one of the most interesting rookies to being one of the most hated players in the NFL. There has been a slew of rape allegations that have been made against Matt Araiza dating back to his days as the star quarterback of San Diego State. New information regarding the matter continues to come out as the investigation goes on.
The victim, who has remained nameless has come forward and spoken up against the heinous acts that Araiza and two other San Diego university players committed against her. Araiza and two other San Diego State University athletes allegedly attacked the 18-year-old victim for more than an hour during a party in October, according to the woman who made the accusation. No names of alleged rape victims are given by CBS News.
The scene only gets more gruesome as she alleged that they took away her phone and ripped apart all her piercings leaving her a bloody mess after they were done assaulting her. The woman, who was 17 at the time of the event, told CBS News, “I was crying, and my friend asked me what happened and I confessed to her that I had just been raped”.
She also kept a journal in which she wrote things like “All I keep replaying in my mind is being face down in a random bed just waiting for it to be over.” “I was having to deal with this horrible traumatic experience that I never asked for,” she told CBS News.
The future with Matt Araiza does not look too bright for the Bills
The attorney that is defending Matt Araiza said that it’s horrible that she(the victim) had to undergo such a traumatic experience but Araiza had nothing to do with it nor was a part of anything even closely related to the said incident.
This incident has put the NFL into a Tuffle as this is not the first time a rape allegation has been filed against a player. The NFL has to be strict in its prosecution as this problem is a serious one and will put a blemish on its record.
The problem also lies with the bills organization that was counting on Araiza to be the next marketable star in the Buffalo Bills Lineup. New information will continue to develop this story even further. Let’s hope that justice is served and the perpetrators are given the required punishment that they deserve.
