Merrianne Do has been in the limelight for some days but not for the right reasons. The ESPN camera persons focused on her intense expressions in the game against the Dallas Cowboys. She was wearing a Los Angeles Chargers jersey and was spotted sharing both moments of cheer and sorrow. Right after the pictures went viral, the NFL crowd thought that she might be a die-hard fan of the Chargers. 

But a tale of twist occurred as some other pictures of the girl went viral. In those pictures, the girl was spotted wearing the jersey of the Minnesota Vikings. Soon after those pictures popped up, Twitter was flooded with a lot of reactions and theories. A new theory has emerged that the woman was ‘paid’ to wear the Chargers jersey and was paid to cheer for them.

Merrianne was slammed and later came up with her explanation. In the interaction with TMZ Sports, Merrianne addressed all the hardships that she had to suffer and said, “I grew up in Minnesota before moving to California almost 20 years ago. I don’t think you have to be a single-team fan. I love my Chargers and I’m not gonna deny my Vikings. At the end of the day, yes, I’ve been a Vikings fan, I’ve been through that journey as a Vikings fan and still am, but I’m here in LA for the past 20 years.”

She kept on saying, ‘Why are people saying you are a fake? This is how you are!’ I guess my poor kids have to deal with this every day but now, it is crazy that the world thinks this is different because my kids have dealt with this in their lives.”

Merrianne is a season ticket holder 

Another post that popped up and busted the myth that Merianne is an actor came from Tom Pellissero who claimed that Merrianne and her husband are season ticket holders of the Chargers. This suggests that both of them are regular watchers of the Chargers’ games and go to the field regularly.

However, Merrianne’s team is not having the best time as they lost against the Dallas Cowboys. Overall, they are down by a 2-3 record till now. It is to be seen how they perform in the coming time. 

The Chargers next travel to the Arrowhead Stadium to take on the Kansas City Chiefs on the 22nd of October. The Chiefs have been on song this season with an impressive 5-1 record.
