The Dallas Cowboys had an early playoff exit this year. It was another time when Dak Prescott and company choked at the biggest stage. The playoff battle did not reflect the form that the team showed in the regular season. The Cowboys ended their season with a 12-5 record and they had demolished a lot of teams.

The success of the Dallas Cowboys was owed to the twinning between quarterback Dak Prescott and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb. Both showed tremendous understanding and that resulted in a lot of touchdowns, and eventually big wins. Considering all these, the Cowboys are presently on the verge of extending his contract. Micah Parsons, the linebacker (LB) claimed that it is the priority of the Cowboys to sign the contract.

I know they gotta get CeeDee Lamb done. I think that's the priority right now.
Micah Parsons said

Parsons’ contract extension also awaits. However, the LB is not giving prime importance to the extension now. In the interview, he stated that he would love to be with the Cowboys forever. 

If they're ready to talk about a deal and get a deal done, I'll be super excited. You know I'm ready to be [with the] Cowboys for life, this is the team I wanted to be with, this is the team I want to win a championship with.

CeeDee Lamb’s name has been doing rounds for a lot of wrong reasons. His mother made some derogatory remarks about the Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott. Lamb’s mother recently claimed that Prescott needed to be thrown out of the team.

She wrote on Facebook:

DAK ISNT IT--They need to get rid of his a*s! Its guys on the team that want a RING! They work to (sic) hard.

CeeDee Lamb distanced himself from the comments that his mother made

CeeDee Lamb has distanced himself from the comments that his mother made. He claimed that Dak Prescott is his leader and he believes in the credibility of the quarterback. In addition, Lamb also revealed that he did not have any beef with his QB.

I know what my mom said. Let’s get the elephant out the room. I have not been talking to my mom about any of this. I don’t talk to my mom about my sports nor my personal problems. She’s just being a mom. She knows her son. He comes home mad when we lose. She had the opportunity to voice her opinion on Facebook.
CeeDee Lamb clarified

Dak Prescott will certainly get another season to prove himself worthy of leading his team to glory. It is to be seen whether Lamb also receives the same fate.
