A lot of drama is happening in the college football world. Jim Harbaugh, the head coach of the Michigan Wolverines football team, has been suspended for 3 games by the Big Ten conference over accusations of stealing signs from opponents. The University of Michigan filed a court case against Big Ten’s ‘hasty’ suspension, but now it seems like they have accepted the decision as they withdrew their case.

On Thursday, the University of Michigan released a statement that the university, head coach Harbaugh, and Big Ten reached a resolution to the conflict. As a result, Michigan decided to withdraw its case, which canceled Friday’s hearing on Harbaugh’s 3-game suspension. But now, Big Ten has released a statement saying the issue hasn’t been resolved.

Big Ten conference continued in its statement that the University of Michigan’s decision to withdraw its case implies the high standards and the values of the conference that they would not waver at any cause.

Today’s decision by the University of Michigan to withdraw its legal challenge against the Conference’s November 10th Notice of Disciplinary Action is indicative of the high standards and values that the Conference and the University seek to uphold.

The conference didn’t mention anything about closing their investigation on the scandal, as Michigan mentioned in their statement. They said the conference would work with the university and NCAA during the investigation.

So, it seems like Michigan did not reach a resolution with the conference and just simply accepted Big Ten’s punishment. Either way, head coach Harbaugh will certainly play the remaining two games of the Wolverines in the ongoing college football regular season.

Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines are accused of sign-stealing and in-scouting their opponents. The alleged scheme is masterminded by now ex-staffer Connor Stalions. According to reports, he went to their opponents’ games and recorded their signs.

Jim Harbaugh has continuously denied any participation in the sign-stealing scheme. The Big Ten conference also claimed that it doesn’t have any evidence linking Harbaugh to the scandal. Still, he was hit with a 3-game suspension during the crucial time in the college football season.
