The College Football Playoff bracket is set. The four teams that have gotten the nod to play in the semifinals are Michigan, Washington, Texas, and Alabama.

Michigan and Washington finished their seasons unbeaten, whereas Texas and Alabama lost only once during the season. However, some teams were left heartbroken after being left out of the playoffs this season.

One such team that was left out was Florida State University. The Seminoles finished the season with an unbeaten record of 13-0 but failed to make the cut. They barely won their final game of the season, whereas Alabama defeated the mighty Georgia Bulldogs. That swayed the pendulum towards Alabama, as they got the nod ahead of FSU in the final four. Now Alabama will face Michigan in the Rose Bowl.

However, in a video that’s going viral on social media, Michigan players reacted to Alabama getting announced as the fourth team in the top 4. There were audible gasps within the Michigan camp as they reacted to the Crimson Tide getting the vote ahead of FSU. The video on Twitter was captioned as: 

Michigan’s reaction to Alabama being revealed as the #4 seed is wild… You can hear that gasp… they wanted to play FSU for sure.

Alabama will enter the bowl game against Michigan on a high after beating Georgia in the SEC championship game. Georgia was on a 29-game winning streak, but Alabama managed to break that streak. The Rose Bowl will take place on January 1.

The Michigan Wolverines will play the Rose Bowl on January 1, 2024 against the Alabama Crimson Tide. They reacted to Alabama being revealed as the fourth seed instead of Florida State University. FSU finished the season unbeaten, but Alabama dropped a game during the college football season.

The Michigan camp’s reactions suggested that they would have rather played FSU than Alabama in the Bowl game. There were audible gasps all around the room as soon as the name was revealed. Fans too, picked up on that and gave their reactions on Twitter.

Michigan has had a tremendous season and will hope to continue that in the playoffs as well. However, Alabama will be tough out, with their experienced head coach Nick Saban calling the shots. Get the popcorn ready, as the playoffs this year are going to be great!
