“I’ve always been a huge fan” HC Mike McCarthy drops a huge hint on free agent Odell Beckham Jr’s future at Cowboys

The Cowboys are currently in great form as they sit second in their division only behind the undefeated Eagles. The Cowboys have lost just 2 games and are looking lethal this season.
For the first time in many seasons, the Cowboys have managed to build a formidable offense and defense. Though many fans and analysts have stated that with an addition of quality WR they can easily challenge for the Super Bowl and bring glory days back for the Cowboys.
The best WR currently on the free agent market is Odell Beckham Jr. The WR had suffered a torn ACL injury and is still going through rehabilitation, however; he is expected to come back sometime in December.
Recently, OBJ gave a list of 4 teams as his favorite teams he wishes to play for and the Cowboys were on the list. Cowboys HC Mike McCarthy was asked about this and had an interesting reaction.
“Number one, we really love our receiver group, and I really like the balance of the veterans versus the young guys,” McCarthy said. “I think we got some better football with more opportunities in front of us.”
Can Odell Beckham Jr. be a good fit for the Cowboys?
Odell Beckham Jr. is a quality WR but HC Mike McCarthy is currently satisfied with his receiver group, though the HC dropped a cryptic hint about OBJ signing for them.
“In particular to Odell, I’ve always been a huge fan of his,” McCarthy stated. “I’ve always been so impressed with his football playing ability, but I’ve just heard so many excellent, excellent things about him over the years. I think those are conversations for the future. Right now, we’re focused on our guys.”
The statement by Mike McCarthy has put the Cowboys fans on their heels who want to see OBJ wear the star helmet and catch some brilliant throws from Dak Prescott.
However, it looks like it won’t come to fruition this season as the HC is really happy with his current squad and would not like to change things that can potentially disrupt their chemistry.
Although Odell Beckham Jr has also listed the Packers, Bills, and the Giants as a potential destination for the WR. All we can do is just wait and watch and let the WR make his decision.
