The Philadelphia Eagles franchise quarterback Jalen Hurts is currently preparing to defend their NFC crown and further win a Super Bowl in the upcoming season. Amidst his hectic training schedule, Hurts partnered with Muhammad Ali‘s daughter Laila Ali to distribute essential sports equipment to female athletes in Philly.

Hurts along with the former World Champion boxer Laila Ali and soccer star Carli Lloyd visited the Northeast High School in Philadelphia to distribute FLY: FWD sports bras to female athletes. They are specially created sports bras for young female athletes to support young girls’ access to sports. The panel which consisted of top athletes also had a discussion with the female athletes about sports.

The Philadelphia-based football team collaborated with the non-profit organization to distribute specially designed sports bras for young female athletes. Back in January, the Eagles purchased $100k worth of these specially created bras and donated nearly 6000 of them. And now, Hurts and Muhammad Ali’s daughter Laila joined hands to do the good deed.

“On behalf of the @womenssportsfoundation, I had the honor of joining @jalenhurts @carlilloyd @stardana the @philadelphiaeagles and @operationwarm_coatsforkids launch their Fly: FWD mission to get 30,000 sports bras to young female athletes who lack the resources they need to participate in youth sports this fall. We were all proud to see the smiles on the faces of the young girls in attendance,” wrote Laila while sharing images and videos from the event.

The defending NFC Champions Eagles claim that donating sports bras is just a part of their ongoing program to increase young girls’ access to sports and level the playing field.

The Eagles led by their franchise signal-caller Jalen Hurts are looking to win a Super Bowl ring before their window closes. Hurts last year led his team to the big game but they lost a close encounter with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Now, the Philadelphia-based football team has improved a lot in the 2023 NFL off-season as they have added talented players in every department. They still have one of the best defenses and offensive line in the league.

However, they will face a tougher competition this season since all the NFC East teams have gotten a lot better in the off-season. Nonetheless, if the Pro Bowler Hurts can stay healthy for the entire year, the Eagles have a shot at winning the Super Bowl in February. They will open their 2023 campaign with a tough road game against the New England Patriots on September 10.
