Aaron Rodgers just finished his 4-days darkness retreat and left the Oregon facility per multiple reports. The 39-year-old QB will soon make a decision about his future in the league. There are multiple teams in the league, that are willing to work with the former Super Bowl Champion including his current team the Green Bay Packers. In fact, an NFL insider claims the Packers want Rodgers back in the team for the upcoming season.

During a recent episode of the Rich Eisen Show, NFL reporter Tom Pelissero joined Eisen to talk about the future of the 10-time Pro Bowl quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Furthermore, Pelissero shares that the Green Bay-based franchise is willing to have Rodgers back as long the quarterback is fully brought in.

“If he wants to return to Green Bay and as long as he’s fully bought in, the Packers want him back,” Pelissero said Tuesday on Rich Eisen’s radio show. “They had good conversations after the season.”

Furthermore, Eisen asked Pelissero about the rumors of the Green Bay Packers Packers being disgusted with their franchise QB Aaron Rodgers’s actions and the claims about them wanting to move on from the 4-time league MVP. To which, the NFL network reporter Pelissero answered that he has not heard any such thing from the Packers’ circle. “I would say nobody has told me they are disgusted with Aaron Rodgers,” Pelissero said.

According to Pelissero, the Packers didn’t expect Aaron Rodgers’s off-season drama since they signed him to an expensive 3-year contract just last half season. Furthermore, he also claimed that Rodgers’s on-field shortcomings last season were due to the injuries he suffered throughout the season.

“I think that it is natural when you give someone an unprecedented type of contract, basically ripping up the remaining contract and giving him what amounts to a three-year, $150 million-plus deal like they did last year, you’re anticipating you’re gonna get somebody who’s fully bought in and is going to play at a really high level, and it didn’t work out that way in 2022. He had the finger injury that probably impacted him more than people realized at the time, he had some other injuries he played through,” said Pelissero about Rodgers’s situation with the Packers.

So the Packers want their franchise QB back, and on the other side, the New York Jets and the Las Vegas Raiders are reportedly all in on acquiring Rodgers. And now, the whole league is eagerly waiting for Rodgers’s decision about his future in the QB-deprived league.
