However, Watson has constantly declined any links with these harrasment allegations claiming that all of them were baseless and did not have any truth against them. It seems that the NFL is not going to be fooled this time as per leading NFL analyst, Andrew Beaton who claimed that the NFL is pushing very hard for the suspension to come in place.

In a long Twitter thread posted by Beaton he exclaimed the procedure the NFL is following at the moment. He wrote, “While the NFL will present a broad array of the cases to the neutral arbitrator, it has zeroed in on five that league officials believe are particularly damning. Those include contemporaneous evidence that the league thinks make them objectively provable.

Although Deshaun Watson, might not feature for the Browns this season if the suspension does come, the quarterback does not need to worry about his financial gains. He signed a mammoth 5-year long contract worth $230 million with the Cleveland Browns and will receive his first payment of $45 million this year, even if he does not play.
