Nick Bosa dubs Deebo Samuel as the ‘epitome of unselfishness’ after his game-winning 3 TD outing against the Eagles

Deebo Samuel may love to trash talk, but he can also back that up with performance every time he goes onto the field. But Sunday, the scenario was different because the implications and stakes were higher. For the regular football fan, it was just another regular-season game; for Deebo, it was a matter of pride, which took a slight dent last season.
Lincoln Financial Field saw the Philadelphia Eagles take on the San Francisco 49ers in a replay of last season’s NFC Championship game, which the 49ers lost. Unlike last time, the red and gold had a healthy Brock Purdy in the ranks. And boy, he delivered.
Purdy linked up with Samuel on four occasions, and the Pacy wide receiver converted two of them into touchdowns while gaining 116 yards. He can talk the talk and walk the walk, as the 49ers ran riot with a 42-19 win against Philadelphia. That’s the kind of opinion edge rusher Nick Bosa has about the 27-year-old after the Eagles game.
I think he’s the epitome of unselfishness; he got paid, and obviously that comes with a lot of pressure to be the guy, and when you have so many dudes, you aren’t going to get those ops very often. But I just love the fact that he can talk, walk into a hostile environment, and just thrive. That’s what greatness is made of, for sure.
Bosa had a solid game as well. He led the game with quarterback pressure and had six tackles. It took his season tally to 39 hits (24 solo and 15 assisted), and he also recorded 6.5 sacks in 2023.
Fred Warner backed up Nick Bosa in praising Deebo Samuel’s performance against the Eagles
When it comes to playing it cool, there’s hardly anyone better than Niners linebacker Fred Warner. He was perhaps one of the few who had kept the past in the past, unlike Deebo Samuel. But he was left impressed by the tenacity and hunger for winning of the All-Pro playmaker.
Deebo is one of the best football players I’ve ever seen. Performances like that don’t surprise me. It’s only a matter of time when he does kind of pop off like that. People were saying things about what he said before the game. But I think his action spoke louder than his words.
With the win over the Eagles, Samuel and co. are now 9-3 for the season. The 49ers are second in the NFC seed, while the Eagles remain the ranked team.
