“Nothing determined out there”: Jerry Jones AVOIDS questions regarding Jimmy Johnson’s induction into the Ring of Honor

Last year in August during Jimmy Johnson’s induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Dallas Cowboys General Manager Jerry Jones had promised that Johnson will be finally inducted into the Cowboys Ring of Honor.

It has been one year since that statement was made and nothing such has been fulfilled. In fact ik addition Jerry Jones has said there’s no update on when Jimmy Johnson will finally get his worthy induction.

Speaking to the media and celebrating that the city of Dallas has been selected as a host City of the FIFA World Cup 2026, Jerry Jones talked about Jimmy Johnson. He said that he doesn’t have a timeline as to when it will happen and that nothing was determined yet.

Nothing determined out there at all. That’s something that I’ve never really decided upon almost until a week or two before I do it,” Jerry Jones said.

Really. No, I’ve never been something that’s had a long tail to it thought process. Obviously the people are qualified are career qualified. So, that is a career process. But as far as the timing of any individual that will ultimately in that Hall of Fame, I don’t have that.”

“I understand that. I really understand that would be a part of the question, but the answer is I don’t have a timeline.”
