“RIDICULOUS” -Buffalo Bills Nyheim Hines’ remarkable performance has fans SWOONING

The Buffalo Bills’ matchup against the New England Patriots was bound to be something special. The Bills had an added layer of motivation coming into the building as they were playing this game for their friend and teammate Damar Hamlin who happened to suffer a cardiac arrest last weekend in their matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.

So it was only natural that something remarkable was bound to happen and oh it did! With all Bills’ players donning jerseys with Damar Hamlin’s jersey number sewn to it, the team did get off to a slow start initially on offense but it was Nyheim Hines, the kick returner for the team who was hot throughout the game. Hines started the game off on a high note as he ended up going 96 yards and scoring a touchdown on the opening kickoff.

He was not done there! Hines came back and scored yet another touchdown on a kick return in a crucial moment where the New England Patriots had the upper hand over the Buffalo Bills. This time, Hines went 101 yards all the way into the end zone. This play put the Bills in the driver’s seat and from this point forward, the Pats never got their lead back.

Nyheim Hines created history for Damar Hamlin:

By doing this, Hines ended up becoming the only Bills player to have two kickoff return touchdowns in the same game. It also happens to be just the second time that the Patriots under Head Coach Bill Belichick have allowed more than one touchdown to be scored on them by a special teams player. The last time this happened, Tom Brady was still in New England.

Nyheim Hines did it for Damar Hamlin, and the man took note. Hamlin was entertained and loved what he was seeing from his teammate. He was watching the game and his immediate reaction was similar to that of fans.

Hines did run for his life on the opening return as he clocked in at a mind-boggling 21.25 mph which was a career-high for him. Fans loved what they saw from him and took to Twitter to express their awe.

Since there was no third, can we agree it was his talent that won them the game and not accuse the NFL of “rigging” it?

What’s up with New England? Period.

All for number 3!

The Buffalo Bills went on to dominate the Patriots 35-23 and the team did get emotional as they were happy that they were able to put on a show for their teammate who was watching them from the hospital. With this, the Bills cap off a great season and are still at the top of the AFC East.
