The former Buffalo Bills running back O. J. Simpson is a controversial name in the football world. He was accused of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman but was declared not guilty in a nationally televised trial back in the mid-’90s. With that experience, Simpson is now giving advice to former United States President Donald Trump.

The 45th President of the United States Donald Trump is now facing legal trouble over his alleged mishandling of the classified document. Just a few days ago, Trump was formally indicted for the second time. He could face a maximum of 400 years of prison time and could be subjected to a fine of more than $9 million, according to The New York Post.

Amidst this news, Trump receives some legal advice from an unlikely source, the former Bills running back O.J. Simpson. OJ claims the best advice he ever received during his trial was not to talk about the case in public and not give any interviews. He provides the same advice to Trump, who is not known for keeping things private.

“I’m gonna share some advice that I got from some of the greatest legal minds,” Simpson said. “The one thing they all told me and stressed to me, do not to talk about the case publicly. Do not do interviews about the case. The Bakers threatened to quit, if I did that. My point is, I don’t know. Donald’s lawyers are stressing this tool. If they’re not they should be fired and he should sue him.”

The Republican Donald Trump, who will be running for the Presidency in the 2024 US election, would have to talk about legal issues during his campaign. Interesting times lie ahead for Trump in the new few months.

Former US President Donald Trump has a long history with the National Football League. He has tried to buy an NFL franchise multiple times but never had success in his attempts.

Furthermore, even before he became President, the billionaire businessman was friends with multiple NFL team owners, including the New England PatriotsRobert Kraft and the Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross.

Additionally, after becoming President, Trump heavily bashed NFL players for kneeling during the national anthem as a protest started by the former San Francisco 49ers‘ QB Colin Kaepernick.

As a result, Trump lost the support of many NFL owners, including Kraft, who called Trump’s comments about the protests ‘divisive’. Similarly, Trump has had a lot of run-ins with the NFL throughout the years.
