As the regular season draws ever close Ravens fans must be questioning the signing of Odell Beckham Jr.

Odell Beckham Jr. was spotted talking to Brazilian soccer player Neymar Jr. at the Denver Nuggets vs. Miami Heat game earlier today. The Baltimore Ravens wide receiver attended the match with some of his friends and took some photos with the Paris Saint-Germain star.
This isn’t the first time Odell showed up during an NBA game. Previously, he watched the match between the Phoenix Suns and the Dallas Mavericks with his girlfriend. In the meantime, the 30-year-old became a fresh free agent after the Los Angeles Rams let go of him after an injury-hit season.
In light of his old antics seen in the newest video, Odell is a no-show for Baltimore’s OTAs. The Ravens decided to give the Super Bowl LVI winner a chance and an opportunity to team up with quarterback Lamar Jackson.
The Ravens gave Odell Beckham Jr. a one-year contract worth $18 million. The 2013 First Team All-American will earn $15 million guaranteed and $3 million in incentives.
But Ravens fans must be scratching their heads as to where Odell is when he should be on the field learning the ropes. Well, they finally got an answer as the three-time Pro Bowler chatted away during today’s Nuggets vs. Heat match.

Fans aren’t too happy that Odell Beckham Jr. is missing from the Ravens OTAs

The Ravens’ hierarchy must be wondering if signing Odell was the right call, even after the alleged assault allegations against him. The fans, however, didn’t seem too thrilled with Odell skipping out on practice.
Some were quick to point out that the former Giants player pops up everywhere besides the Ravens OTAs.
Why Odell is not showing up to training is still up in the air, as there’s been no update from either his camp or the Ravens. Since his injury in 2021, Odell has yet to kick the ball, and fans are rightfully worried.
If you look at Odell’s injury history, it’s very rare that he goes a season without picking up one. It’s not a surprise that in a contact sport like football, players tend to get injured. However, Odell has been plagued by them.
His greatest nemeses are the groin and hamstring. In 2019, Odell underwent surgery to repair a core muscle injury. Then again, in October 2020, he ruptured his ACL, which was followed by another surgery.
However, Ravens fans can have confidence in him, as the player declared in April 2023 that he loves the game and can’t wait to get back on the field.
If Odell wants to prove that the Ravens’ decision to give him a contract was the correct call, he should get back to training as the 2023 NFL season is fast approaching.
