In the 2022 season, the Los Angeles Rams want to successfully defend their Super Bowl victory. By trading for some important players in the middle of the season, the squad was successful. Odell Beckham Jr., a former wide receiver for the New York Giants and Cleveland Browns, was one of these components. He developed as a crucial component of LA’s potent offense.
Odell Beckham Jr., on the other hand, had an ACL injury in the first quarter of the Rams’ Super Bowl contest. Fans have been concerned that because of that and his imminent free agency, he might not join the squad again. Based on his conversation with Cooper Kupp, though, it appears that OBJ is already planning his return to Los Angeles.
“I’mma see you on December 13th,” Beckham said to Cooper Kupp during their short and brief interaction online. “I’m watching all your, and if you don’t get 2000 yards, I’mma tell people you sold your soul … I’m at your first game though, bro.”
Where will Odell Beckham Jr end up playing in the 2022 NFL season?
To provide some context, the Rams are slated to play the Las Vegas Raiders on December 8 (Thursday). They then have a full week to rest themselves for their next game against the Green Bay Packers on December 19. It’s reasonable to suppose that the team would practice on December 13. Will Odell Beckham Jr. rejoin the team on that day?
Even with Odell Beckham Jr. out, the Rams still have an abundance of talented wide receivers. The league’s best wide receiver in recent memory, Cooper Kupp, is still on the active roster. He’s likely to keep putting on outstanding performances. To improve their offense, they also brought in former Bears WR Allen Robinson.
It has always been believed that winning the Super Bowl for the second time is considerably harder than defending it. A sizable target will be painted on the back of the Rams and can they withstand the pressure of winning?
The Rams may have a harder time running it back since many teams have beefed up their rosters and are now posing elite-level threats. The Rams fanbase started speculation on one particular thing and that is the game with the Green Bay Packers. With OBJ not returning for the game with the packers many of the fanbases are going as far as to say that OBJ is a Packer now.
