“SHOCKING”: NFL TE Orson Charles arrested for threatening to shoot law enforcement officers

Former NFL tight end Orson Charles was arrested by the police after he reportedly pulled a gun and threatened to shoot two law enforcement officers. As per Tampa police, Charles reportedly confronted two police officers who were off their duty after they pulled up into a parking space that he was waiting for.
The tight end approached the car, pulled a gun, and threatened to shoot them if they did not give up their parking space. The 10 News in Tampa Bay reported that the officers drove away after this incident but they called up their colleagues who rushed to the spot and arrested Charles.
Orson Charles was a fourth-round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft:

Charles has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, carrying a concealed firearm, and introduction of contraband into a detention facility. The former NFL tight end was a fourth-rounder in the 2012 NFL draft.
He was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals but also played for the Tennessee Titans, Detroit Lions, Kansas City Chiefs, Cleveland Browns, and the Denver Broncos. This is not the first time that he has gotten into trouble with law enforcement, he was previously arrested for DUI just a month before the 2012 NFL draft and he was arrested once in 2014 for wanton endangerment after another driver told police he pulled out his gun during a road rage incident.
Charles spent the most time of his career playing fullback and tight end. He was also drafted by the DC Defenders, an XFL team in 2020 but he opted not to sign with the team.
